November 2021 - North Carolina
I got up at 7:50, packed the car and left home at 8:55. Yes, in the morning!
The Odometer read 37077. Trip OD read 7.0.
I took Route 20 to Schaumburg Road, to I-290, to I-294, to I-94 into Indiana. Then I-65 South.
I got to Indiana about 10:00 CST. All time from here is EST, till homeward bound.
I had breakfast at Cracker Barrel outside Indianapolis about 14:00 EST.
I-65 and I-70 are closed for construction in Indianapolis. I used Google maps to find the way to I-70 East to I-35 thru Ohio.
Somewhere
past Dayton, Google had a short cut (supposed to save 1 minute) that
took me thru country roads to I-35. It was a nice side trip but I
don't think it saved any time. Unless the other way was really
bad.
I got to Super 8 in Gallipolis, OH on the eastern border with West Virginia, at about 20:00 EST.
I forgot my tablet at home but my phone works OK for reading Kindle.
